MDC at the GIS Esri Conference in Czechia 2023

On 8-9 November, the traditional GIS Esri Conference in Czechia took place at the Prague Congress Centre, where Adam Klsák and Josef Laštovička presented their contribution “Management of (Not Only) Spatial Data at the Geographical Section of Charles University: the Map and Data Centre and the DataHub Portal”. As is evident from the title, the aim of the lecture was to present the activities of the MDC to the attendees, and especially to present the fully functional DataHub (including a live demonstration) for the first time in front of the professional public. To our delight, the presentation generated a positive response and subsequent discussion, which continued in the conference backstage. As usual, there were also a number of very inspiring contributions from colleagues from various institutions and companies across Czechia. We are still processing the experience, but we are already looking forward to next year’s event!
