Samsung Galaxy TAB S7 FE 5G Tablets
The Map and Data Centre has nine Samsung Galaxy TAB S7 FE 5G tablets available for loan to Geography Institute staff for teaching purposes. The tablets contain Android operating system and have a 12 inch screen. The tablets can be connected to a Wi-Fi network or to 5G mobile network. The tablets contain GNSS sensor for GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO. Basic applications from ESRI are installed on the tablets.
Computing Station
A powerful PC station is available to Geography Institute staff by prior arrangement. Computing power is provided by Intel Core i7-12700, 4.90 GHz, 25MB L3 LGA1700, BOX. The PC has 64GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM, AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming D 16G OC (16GB GDDR6) graphics card and 1TB SSD storage. You can also connect to the station remotely.
